FAQ

What kind of yarn to choose for 2022 blanket CALs?

Well, one thing we know for sure is that crochet alongs are all about exploring different fabrics and techniques and experimenting with them. In the patterns you can find in this selection, you will be using double knitting, worsted and arand cotton yarns.

Are crochet along blankets easy enough for beginners?

These types of crochet patterns are usually quite complex, we must say, but the instructions are very detailed. And you always have a community of helpers to guide you! If you are motivated and have some time to spend on your blanket, give it a try, even if you don’t have that much experience yet!

How to choose the right colors for CAL blankets?

You have two options here – either to follow the instructions of the crochet along author and use the exact same colors or go creative with the pattern. It is always nice to surprise yourself and other crocheters with a unique color palette!
